I decided to raise the barge and shack from the seafloor. Some are still floating while some have been dilapidated asunder. There is an extensive network of barges and makeshift island homes constructed from various materials along the coast. For Bethesda fans and people like myself this is already interesting and makes you wonder about the history of this location.How long was the barge floating? When was it commandeered? Did people live on it? What caused it to sink? and etc. The barge and shack on top already existed in the game albeit sunken to the seafloor in shambles. The story behind the barge and shack is actually pretty cool.

Due to pop-ins it doesn't appear right away it will appear once you are close enough. Keep swimming - it's there, you'll find it. Out in the ocean to the East of Fort Strong you will find an unmarked location: an abandoned floating barge hideout which contains loot and other things.

*Craft Rebreathers at the Chemistry Station under SCUBA. In Fallout: New Vegas, an NPC can craft you a Rebreather.

Similar to a standard power armor helmet, Rebreathers multiply your underwater breath time by 5 - allowing you to breathe underwater for longer durations.

*When wearing a full scuba (dry) suit, hood, and Rebreather you will receive a radiation boost of 200 only while swimming. They should be rare but obtainable if you shop around. They've also been added to vendor leveled lists. Scuba Gear has been placed at some locations along the East Coast.
